# Terms of Service

Last updated: October 6, 2026

## Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover this website, the free tools it hosts, including the AI Pricing Finder and the Margin Analyzer, and the agent-ready hosted service at app.tansohq.com (together, the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

## The Tanso Software

The Tanso platform is open-source software licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). Your rights to use, modify, self-host, and redistribute the software come from that license, not from these Terms. Nothing here limits the rights the AGPL-3.0 grants you. The source code is available at [github.com/tansohq/tanso-oss](https://github.com/tansohq/tanso-oss). The software is provided under the warranty and liability terms stated in the AGPL-3.0 itself.

## Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site to:

- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit harmful code or malware
- Engage in fraudulent activities
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems

## Free Tools

The AI Pricing Finder and Margin Analyzer are free, require no account, and are provided for research and estimation. Their outputs are informational only and are not financial, pricing, or legal advice. Verify any figures before relying on them.

## agent-ready Hosted Test Runs

agent-ready checks whether an AI agent can sign up for your product and get a working credential. The command-line tool (`npx @tansohq/agent-ready`) runs on your own machine, is free, and needs no account. A hosted test run is one attempt by our agent, run from app.tansohq.com, to complete the task you defined, followed by our check that the credential it got works.

### Price

- $5.00 USD per completed hosted test run.
- A workspace a person owns gets 5 free hosted test runs per calendar month (UTC). Free runs are used first. A workspace an agent created that no person owns yet gets no free runs.
- A run that ends inconclusive, or fails because of a problem on our side, is not charged. A free run goes back to the month and a paid run goes back to the workspace balance.
- Paid runs do not expire. They stay in the workspace balance until used.

### Purchases by agents

- An agent holding a workspace API key can ask to buy runs. The first purchase always needs a person: the agent receives an approval link to send to the workspace owner.
- Approving pays for that purchase through Stripe Checkout and saves your card with Stripe. We never see or store the full card number.
- When you approve, you set a monthly cap: $50.00 by default, at most $200.00. After that, agents holding the workspace's API key can buy runs with the saved card without asking you, up to the cap. One purchase is at most $50.00.
- The cap resets on the first of each month (UTC). A purchase over the cap, or a charge the card issuer declines or asks you to confirm, comes back to you as a new approval link, and nothing is charged until you approve it.
- Anyone holding the workspace's API key can make these purchases, so keep the key private. On the Account page you can pause agent purchases at any time, which makes every purchase wait for your approval, or replace the key so the old one stops working. You are responsible for purchases made with your key up to the cap you set.
- Approval links work once and expire after 24 hours.

### Receipts and refunds

- Stripe emails a receipt for each charge to the email address entered at Checkout.
- Within 30 days of a purchase, we refund the runs from it that have not been used. Email [kat@tansohq.com](mailto:kat@tansohq.com) with the workspace and the charge.
- Used runs are not refunded, except that inconclusive runs are never charged in the first place.
- If you believe a charge was made without your permission, pause agent purchases, replace the key, and email us. We will refund the unused runs from that charge.

## Site Content

## User Content
