## Introduction

Tanso HQ, Inc. ("we", "our", or "us") operates this website and its free tools (the AI Pricing Finder and the Margin Analyzer). This policy explains what information the site collects and how it is used.

This policy covers this website and the hosted test runs at app.tansohq.com. It does not cover a tanso-oss instance you run yourself.

## Information We Collect

### Information You Provide

- Your email address, if you choose to share it (for example to receive AI insights in the Margin Analyzer or to book a demo)
- Messages you send us, including through the site's chat widget

### Information Collected Automatically

- Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited)
- Device information
- Cookies and similar technologies used by our analytics tools

## The Free Tools and Your Data

The Margin Analyzer processes CSV files you upload entirely in your browser. Individual customer rows are never uploaded to our servers. If you request AI insights and provide your email, we send your email address and aggregate metrics only (totals such as MRR, customer counts, and average margin) to generate the insights and notify us of the request.

The AI Pricing Finder is read-only research data and does not require or collect any personal information.

## agent-ready and Your Data

The agent-ready command-line tool runs on your own machine with your own coding agent and sends nothing to us. Its test results and any credentials it obtains stay on that machine.

When you use hosted test runs at app.tansohq.com, we store your sign-in email (through Clerk), your workspaces, the products and tasks you define, and each run's steps and result. If you turn on alert emails for a test, we send them to your verified sign-in email through AgentMail. They contain the test's name and URL, whether it passed, a short summary with keys removed, and a link to the report. Turn them off on the test's Alerts. The test agent uses a throwaway inbox created for that run, never your own email address.

When you pay, Stripe collects your card and the email you enter at Checkout. We store the Stripe customer reference, the last four digits of the card, and a record of each purchase. We never see or store the full card number.

We keep this data while your workspace exists. Email us to have a workspace and its data deleted. Purchase records we must keep for tax and accounting are kept as long as the law requires.

## How We Use Your Information

- Respond to your messages and demo requests
- Deliver the AI insights you asked for
- Understand how the site and tools are used, so we can improve them
- Detect and prevent abuse

## Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

- With service providers that run parts of this site on our behalf (hosting, analytics, scheduling, AI inference, sign-in, email, and payments)
- To comply with legal obligations
- To protect our rights and prevent fraud
- In connection with a business transfer or merger

## Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

## Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Email us to have your information deleted.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:
